Grow What They Know: Equity in Access for All Students

The key to moving students forward is to GROW WHAT THEY KNOW. Every student brings strengths and knowledge to every learning experience!

Parents, teachers, and school administrators, we all are doing the best we can with what we know. The beauty of life is that we can always learn more. Where ever you are on your journey in improving the outcomes of your children or students, it is essential that we strive to GROW WHAT WE KNOW and do better!

Equity through Advocacy, Professional Development, and Instructional Coaching

Equity in education can only truly exist when the needs of both students and teachers are met.

  • Professional development provides opportunities for teachers to deepen their content knowledge. These sessions also create time for teachers to gain knowledge of research-based instructional practices and collaborate and plan with peers.
  • Instructional coaching provides teachers and administrators ongoing support. Coaching sessions include planning meetings, PLCs, classroom support and observations, and opportunities for co-teaching.
  • Special Education Advocacy provides a bridge between parents and educators through clear, supported communication, representation in meetings, and information that allows families play an equal role in the collaborative process. All students’ needs are best met when parents and schools work together.
