Parenting is a job that requires all of your heart and soul. There is no way to be totally prepared for the journey. No matter how much you think you are ready for parenting no one expects to be caring for a child with a disability. General Information Websites

Combing through the resources online can be overwhelming. Here are two websites that are great sources of information for all things special education.

Dyslexia

Both of my children have been diagnosed with dyslexia. They are definitely not along since many studies cite that as many as 1 in 5 people have dyslexia. Over the years, I have learned that this is a fascinating type of neurodivergence. Dyslexia can be the source of many academic challenges, but also perhaps even more amazing abilities.
